Is it safe to work with very young children (around 8 months old) when you have posion ivy? I work in a church nusery and I know you can't catch posion ivy, but I am just trying to be safe and sure.

Posion ivy?
It isn't the rash that spreads the poison ivy...it is the oil from the plant. As long as you have showered and washed the clothes you were wearing that day, you are in the clear!

Reply:No. Even though you may not be allergic you may still infect the youngsters.
