Ivy league acceptance?

does the acceptance into an ivy league university come with a t shirt or sweatshirt





i got into cornell and wanted to know whether or not i will be receiving this.

Ivy league acceptance?
No such luck. My son was accepted to a number of schools in 2006 and did not get a t shirt. After he informed Princeton of his intention to go to school there, he received a sticker for the car window.





That being said, he has probably gotten 20 articles of clothing since he arrived on campus in September of 2006. Mostly t shirts along with a couple of sweatshirts and a pair of sweat pants.

Reply:No, but I'm sure they would be happy to let you buy one! You would think, though, that they might spring for this with the $120,000 tuition you will be paying them over four years! Congratulations on your admission, though!
Reply:Not that I am aware of. You can contact the school bookstore (or whatever store sells logo'd merchandise) and buy something, charge it, have it sent.

you will not only have to pay for your college education, room and board, and food expenses, but also for a lovely sweatshirt!!!





hey, the sweatshirt venders have to make money somehow, and if they gave a free sweatshirt to every accepted person, who would be left to buy them?

Reply:Sorry, you will not be receiving a free t-shirt or sweatshirt. Those are for sale in the bookstore should you decide you want one.





However, if you attend Freshman Orientation, you will receive a free t-shirt at the Big Red Blowout.
