If you have poison ivy and you rub it while bathing, does it spread?

For example, I use a wash cloth on both arms. One arm has Poison Ivy, one does not. If I first wash the Ivy arm, then the uninfected arm, will my uninfected arm get Poison Ivy?

Shower in luke warm water, with soap and water. You don't need to use a wash cloth. Hot water helps the oil in poison oak sink in and spread. When you are first exposed wash your hands in cold water and your body if you are brave enough. It really helps to keep it from spreading.
