Is Poison Ivy always itchy?

Okay, My father and I both think I have poison ivy on my right leg. But my question is, is it always itchy? Or is it like a mosquito bite that sometimes itches and sometimes don't? I mean it really sucks for the fact it's on my leg and I can't itch. But it isn't always itchy. So does this mean that it's not poison ivy or no? Just help.. =[

becuase when you get poisin ivy its usually bumpy and red and itchy and yeah if you put some stuff on it it wont itch for awhile then it'll start back up. And you should go get some poisin ivy cleaser or wash if its bad. It mite be poisin oak or poisin ivy? tht could be up to a doctor take my advicee^^ and go see one.
