Hello....i am currently a high school student...

and i have not been doing well in high school but i really would love to go to Ivy league schools....

i have been slacking off in high schools in some sort....and so

i was just wondering if low gpas would be made up some way..

i do have confidence...but i am worried about my low gpas in freshman so...

my GPA is....3.2 (9th grade) 2honors?

3.5 (10th grade) 1 ap class 4honors

4.8 (11th grade) 5 ap 1 honors

My grades have been improving...but my dad was involved in an accidnet in 10th grade...so my grade suddenly dropped..

and 9th grade...i dont know how my grades happened that way

And i got 800 math/ 650verbal / 600 writing

I am planning on taking one more time....

do you think i still have chances in going to ivy league?

extra cricullar...

i did martial arts for long time but i do not do it anymore..

is it still possible to include that in the application?

Well, you can't really spell, so I'd say that you don't really have a chance.
Reply:Some Ivy league schools are easier to get into than others- I believe Cornell has the highest acceptance rate.

You need to get your verbal SAT score up.

Colleges might see it as a good thing that your GPA is improving- most schools don't expect that you'll have been taking all AP classes since freshman year, and they look mostly at junior year and the classes you take senior year, I think.

Make sure you have someone proofread your essays.

DON'T get your hopes up about Ivy League schools- there are plenty of other great schools out there that might be a better fit- think about exactly what you are looking for in a college, not just about the name.

About martial arts- you can include it as long as you participated in it during high school and tell the truth about when you did it.
