I have a red weeping rash on my legs. I have recently been hiking, its it posion ivy. What does posiion ivy look like

Reply:like a rash and if you itch it you can spread it it can have little spots too you would love oatmeal lotion or a bath in oatmeal. also good for chicken pox.(you could get shot now a day) for chicken pox.

Reply:I would give you a 99.99% on poison Ivy my friend and it sounds like you have a pretty good case. You may have to go to an ER for treatment.


Try not to itch, I know it's hard, you'll only spread it. Don't break the blisters if you can.


Make sure you wash the clothes you were wearing, they'll spread the poison from the clothes., don't touch things, your spreading it. Get someone to get you Lot's of Calamine lotion and put that on, Lot's of it.


Wash your hands every time you touch it. Good luck.





One P.S. do not, repeat, do not touch your face with your hands. You can easily get it in your eyes and it's dangerous, don't take this lightly.

Sounds like you have poison ivy rash but it could be poison oak or another irritating plant.





The rash looks like little water filled pimples. Careful not to scratch because it can spread. I picked it up off my dog's coat years ago and it was agony. The doctor gave me a shot and some cream. I think the over the counter stuff will help the itching but not as well as the prescription remedies.

Reply:It is a leafy plants with 3 pointed leaves, at this time of year the stem starts to turn white.
Reply:poison ivy has three leaves. the ends of the leaves are sort of pointy i warn you to stay away from isn't contageous but if you scratch it after you get it it will leave a scar. so be careful!
